How would you like to get on board with us and make a difference?
Dumfries & Galloway Mental Health Association – Board Director
DGMHA is a long-established local charity providing housing and support to people with mental health needs across our region.
We are currently redesigning our organisation to meet the challenges of the future and to ensure we continue to provide valued services and high-quality support locally. We are growing and expanding our reach in the region, to do this our staff will need the support and guidance of a board of directors from a variety of backgrounds relevant to our work.
We would be particularly keen to hear from people with experience in retail, finance, mental health, human resources, quality & audit, and social care legislation.
However, we would also be delighted to hear from anyone who feels their skills or experience could be an asset to us.
Being a board member is an unpaid role (though expenses would be payable) and would require attendance at 6 weekly board meetings, our annual general meeting and providing support in relation to specific pieces of work, as required.
Being a Charity Director also carries with it several responsibilities and if you would like to find out more, please contact: Lisa Todd, Chief Executive Officer on email@example.com or Martin Donaldson, Chairman on firstname.lastname@example.org for an informal discussion. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the future.
