On Saturday 16th August our Care Home hosted a Summer Bonanza.
It kicked off at 1.00pm, the sun shone throughout the afternoon which is always a welcome bonus.
Staff, residents, family members, friends and staff and service users form other services within DGMHA attended and everyone was in good spirits as you can see from the photos.
We had a huge raffle, bottle stall, home baking (which was amazing), pamper hamper, food hamper, car wash, plant stall and high tea.
It was a happy, relaxing time for all and we will certainly be planning another next year.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who kindly donated vouchers, items, time and energy to make the day such a success.
All monies raised will be used to take our Resident’s on a mystery tour (this was their choice) before winter sets in.
A big shout out to all staff at Claremont, who all went above and beyond for our residents.
