Easter Eggstravaganza
On Easter Monday DGMHA HQ hosted an Easter 'Eggs-travaganza' for the people that use our services. An afternoon with staff and service users gathered together to enjoy plenty of sweet treats and activities.
Over the weekend, our services took the opportunity to get baking and made some delicious treats for all to enjoy. Service users both learning and showing their skills in the kitchen, were supported by our staff to create their masterpieces.

Our partners ELVES CIC ran a workshop on potting plants and flowers such as Petunias, Lobelia, Marigolds, Mint and Peas. Service users worked on planting bright hanging baskets for around our services and also potted individual plants and seeds. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed getting stuck in using their green fingers and had the opportunity to take away their plants to nurse at home.
We greatly appreciated Ben and Jakob at ELVES, who went above and beyond for our people. Ben was excellent with everyone, very knowledgeable and kept the fun going.

An Easter Hunt was ongoing all afternoon (even in the rain) finding the bunnies that were hiding around HQ to win an easter egg. And the entertainment continued with a game of prize bingo and some line dancing.
A great afternoon was had by all.
