Our winners of the Nursery Mindfulness Bench competition, First Steps Nursery, with their prize.
This year DGMHA advertised a competition for nurseries within the region to be in with the chance of winning a Mindfulness Bench for their space. The brief was to show what mindfulness means to them in any way from art to making a video.
Seven excellent entries were received and the judges from DGMHA had a tough decision. The judging panel consisted of a service user, staff member, senior manager and a member of our Board.
First Steps Nursery were chosen the winners, with their fantastic video showing what the children were grateful for.
The bench is to be situated in their new garden allotment for the children to use all year round.
