On Friday 24th November, we officially opened our new office base in Newton Stewart. Situated next to Scent of Galloway, 24 Albert Street, the office is a perfect base for Deputy Team Leader, Karen Wither, and her staff team that support the service users in Newton Stewart and surrounds.
This new based will help the team to grow, increasing the support delivered in the area and opening more employment opportunities.
The afternoon was kicked off by a special cutting of the ribbon by Karen, joined by Team Leader, Ann Marie Wither, and Deputy Team Leader, Lesley Reid. Board Chairman, Martin Donaldson, CEO, Lisa Todd, and Care & Support Manager, Liz Kelting also pictured.
A fantastic afternoon tea was provided by neighbours, Scent of Galloway Café, food and service was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We would like to say a big thank you to Jill Lyon, owner of the café and office, for giving our Newton Stewart team a base to continue providing mental health support to those in need in the area.
We would also like to thank all those who have donated, which has helped The Association to be able to open this new base for the service.
