Service User Adventures to Safari Park
Deputy Service Manager at Claremont Care Home, George Service, told us about their day:
"We had a day out to Blair Drummond! Service users from Craigshields and Castle Douglas joined us. We arrived just in time for lunch, then watched the sea lion training before having a wander around park, stopping for ice cream on our way. Then to finish the day off we had a lovely drive around the safari park. On return we had a chippy tea and all the guys commented on how much they enjoyed it."
This trip was suggested by the residents at Claremont and they were all excited to go. Fundraising and donations to DGMHA are being prioritised to provide more activities and events like this from the wishes of our service users.
