Steve Beedie at DGMHA
Thursday 10th October marked World Mental Health Day 2024, the theme this year was 'Prioritising mental health in the workplace'. DGMHA held an exclusive event at our Head Office, where Best-selling Mental Health Author, Steve Beedie done a talk on his personal story of mental health.
Steve shared all about the significant events in his life that contributed to the path that he is now on, helping people all over the world open up and talk about mental health. The floor was then opened for a Q&A, which created great interaction and fantastic questions were thrown his way.
Steve discussed his new book 'Open the Bleed Off: Unleash Mental Health in the Workplace' and everyone got the opportunity to receive a signed copy and have a chat with Steve before the end.
An incredible afternoon of conversations opened up by Steve, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Steve posted about his day with us on his LinkdIn - "What an unreal wee day, met the incredible team at DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION and had one of the most engaging talks I've ever done. There was laughter, a little bit of cursing (sorry mam ) and a full hour of conversations in the Q&A which is always my favourite bit." - https://www.linkedin.com/in/beedie/
