Family Fun Day in memory of Daniel (Goof) Blackwood in aid of DGMHA
On Saturday 20th September a Family Fun Day was held at the Crown Hotel, Lochmaben, in memory of a great community friend, Daniel (Goof) Blackwood. Raising funds for DGMHA, the day was filled with lots of games and competitions for families and then a race night was held in the evening for the adults.
An incredible £5,000 was raised!
On behalf of everyone at DGMHA, we would like to give a huge thank the team, community and supporters for the wonderful generosity shown at the Family Fun Day, raising money for our charity in memory of Daniel (Goof) Blackwood.
Your event was a true celebration of love, laughter and community coming together for a cause that touches so many lives and was a beautiful tribute to your friend Daniel's memory.

Your support will make a difference to the lives of those who use our services, providing new experiences and activities to enable and encourage those to lead a purposeful and fulfilling life.
Our teams and service users are researching and planning what they will spend the money on and we look forward to updating you all on this.
