DGMHA is a registered and established Scottish Charity working with people who have complex mental health needs throughout Dumfries and Galloway with a strong vision and deliver excellence in care and support provision.
No two days will be the same, you will enjoy a varied role providing consistent care and support for setting up tenancies, people living in their own tenancies, transitioning from acute mental health units and social community integration ensuring our support meets the assessed practical and emotional needs of management and recovery modelled by the lived experience of people affected by mental health.
Full training and support will be provided; however, we do require candidates who have a good depth of awareness, understanding or experience of Mental Health and have the ability to create, develop and drive forward personalised support plans, you will be given support and leadership from a designated Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader.
You will be joining a fully trained, experienced and consistent team which runs at the maximum staffing levels. The need for a full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential and ideally you will have previous experience in social care and a relevant qualification. However, we are willing to invest and commit to fully training the right candidate for the role as we pride ourselves on a value based ethos.
In return you will work for a Charity that puts adult wellbeing and safeguarding at the forefront of everything we do and be part of a friendly, ambitious, driven and innovative team.
