DGMHA Drives Forward with New Van Thanks to Castle MacLelland

Dumfries & Galloway Mental Health Association purchase a company van, as part of the £60k donation from Castle MacLelland, for use of Castle Douglas Charity Shop and Maintenance Person

At the end of 2022 Castle MacLelland surprised the team at DGMHA with a fantastic donation of £60k to be used to fund new equipment for the charity shop, property refurbishments and to place mindfulness benches across the region.

DGMHA have purchased a van to be used by the Maintenance Person for daily property upkeep and repairs. Dumfries & Galloway Mental Health Association strive to keep living conditions of the properties to a high standard for their service users, which has a positive impact on mental health.  The van will also be used by the Charity Shop to collect any donations from the public and in the future, to deliver purchases to customers. The charity shop is located on 7 Carlingwark Street, Castle Douglas, a warm welcome will be given to visitors.

A big thank you from DGMHA to Klic Cars Dumfries for their service when purchasing the van, and to Signcraft Signs Ltd for their designing and signage wrapping. Everyone at DGMHA is pleased to see the van looking good and now on the road.

Make sure to give a wave if you spot the van in the region!
